I don't know why it was ever taking you to the wrong forum. As far as I can tell, the bug just made it so that when viewing a forum section, it wouldn't work at all, while when viewing a topic, it would work fine. I had only checked the main forums at first. Streamlined and clean is so much better than the default blotted phpBB. Threads flow more like conversations without all that junk in between each post.
