Porn doesn't really help anyone, yet it uses up an awful lot of resources world-wide. Same with spam, which is worse because it also fills up your inbox, wasting even more space and making email-checking a chore for millions of people. Think about how many computers are sitting on this planet with no other function than to serve porn and dish out spam. It's a huge waste of space, electricicty, and processing power. Well, my point is more about how many resources are completely wasted on trivial things. Porn doesn’t really help anyone, yet it uses up an awful lot of resources world-wide. I have no problem with porn but I only want to get porn when I am searching for it. Definitly the same deal with spam. Communities, though very much present, do not make out a large, physical part of the internet. Neither does correct or incorrect information. No ladies and gentlemen, from the moment it was concieved we turned the internet into a giant, international database of... naked bottoms. Without communities, all you have a left is a not so little stash of porn, which is good in its own way. Communities are there to share the porn because, lets face it, most people in those communities are guys. And being a guy is all about wanting to see naked bottoms.
